Meet the Team
Rina Sfalcin and Jessica Lee founded Form Space after nearly two decades each in product design and development. Their partnership brings together complementary strengths and a shared philosophy: that collaboration is the foundation of great products.

Co-Founder, Product Developer
Rina Sfalcin is a product developer and leather specialist with experience bringing products from concept to market through thoughtful material sourcing and trusted factory partnerships. She began her career in Montréal at Fullum & Holt, a heritage workshop founded in 1897 and known for producing belts for brands including Ralph Lauren. There, she developed a lasting respect for craftsmanship, quality control, and the relationships at the heart of manufacturing.
Rina has led product development for luxury leather goods, travel accessories, and specialty items across both emerging labels and established brands. As a consultant, she worked with companies including Away, Ghurka, ONA, Atelier Savas, and Stone Rose - guiding sample development, managing factory negotiations, refining fit and construction, and elevating durability and material performance.
At Form Space, Rina leads development and production strategy - translating design intent into manufacturable solutions and pairing each product with the right supplier. She brings warmth, and a deep love for the craft, ensuring every product is not only functional and beautiful, but built to last.

Co-Founder, Product Designer
Jessica Lee is a designer with deep expertise in travel goods, leather goods, and accessories. She was the first full-time product design hire at Away, where she launched the brand’s soft-goods category and helped steward the growth of the full assortment and team, from luggage to carry and small goods.
Prior to co-founding Form Space, Jessica led design at Ghurka, where she worked closely with domestic workshops, refining an appreciation for craftsmanship, materials, and longevity. She has also consulted across brands including Kate Spade and Tory Burch, supporting design teams in both concept development and cross-functional alignment.
Her practice is rooted in thoughtful product life - informed by ongoing study, volunteer work, and a commitment to designing products that last. Jessica brings a warm, collaborative approach to the design process, connecting vision with function in ways that feel intentional, refined, and enduring.
